Thick Thigh Save Lives

When is the last time you thought a negative thought about your body? If you’re like most people, negative thoughts about your appearance pop into your head on a regular basis. In a society that constantly promotes diets, weight loss, and toned bodies, we are conditioned to criticize our bodies on a regular basis. It is hard to go a day without seeing an Instabody or an ad for flat tummy tea. In this keynote, I teach participants how to fall back in love with their bodies. Our bodies deserve to be celebrated for all of the things that they can do. By embracing our own physical imperfections, we cultivate spaces to inspire that in others while envisioning communities free of ableism, colorism, and fatphobia.
